Jorgen Faxholm specialises in the production and running of simulations for Management Development as well as competency development for middle and
senior managers in global organisations.
Jorgen works extensively with a range of multinational clients in Europe with a particular focus on Change Management, Organisational Development
and Leadership. He specialises in the concept of Virtual Teams, which he has helped define and implement for several major companies including Siemens and Renault.
A significant proportion of his time is spent working in the Benelux countries. He is fluent in Dutch as well as Danish, Swedish, German and English. He has a working knowledge of French too. Jorgen teaches simulation-based workshops in Strategy and Project Leadership at European Business Schools and Universities (Ashridge Management College, BI in Oslo and Barcelona University).
In the 1990s Jorgen established the European branch of a US based consulting group, setting up a European Partners Network. Prior to this he
had had over 12 years senior management experience in information technology with Dow Chemical in Holland and Switzerland, and Wang Europe in London. He has also been an independent consultant in Business
Analysis and IT for major organisations such as Marks & Spencer and Racal where he pioneered commercial use of Image Processing.
Jorgen received his MSc in Electronic Engineering (Digital Circuitry and Automatic Control) from the Technical University of Denmark and was in his
early career instrumental in developing technologies for transmission of high frequency computer signals, Packet/Message switching and industrial Broad Band Cables.
Jorgen takes a keen interest in history and archaeology, French wine and cooking, and amateur radio.
